As part of ongoing submarine cable projects, civil works for Beach Manholes (BMHs) are being carried out to support the landing of undersea cables. CEGS constructed BMHs for eRDL45 Project and Install precast BMH for PLDT DSCPA1 Project.

A Beach Manhole is a concrete structure built near the shoreline that serves as the entry point of the submarine cable to land-based facilities. It protects the cable, provides accessibility for maintenance, and connects the undersea system to terrestrial networks.

These activities are carefully coordinated to comply with engineering standards, local permitting requirements, and environmental regulations. Proper planning and execution of BMH civil works are critical to the long-term safety, reliability, and protection of submarine cables.

By completing these works, the project ensures a secure and sustainable landing point for international submarine cable systems, strengthening connectivity and communication infrastructure in the region.
